The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari

The film tells the story of the deranged Doctor Caligari and his faithful sleepwalking Cesare and their connection to a string of murders in a German mountain village, Holstenwall. Caligari presents one of the earliest examples of a motion picture "frame strory" in which the body of the plot is presented as a flashback, as told by Francis.
The narrator, Francis, and his friend Alan visit a carnival in the village where they see Dr. Caligari and Cesare, whom the doctor is displaying as an attraction. Caligari brags that Cesare can answer any question he is asked. When Alan asks Cesare how long he has to live, Cesare tells Alan that he will die tomorrow at dawn — a prophecy which turns out to be fulfilled.
Francis, along with his girlfriend Jane, investigate Caligari and Cesare, which eventually leads to Jane's kidnaping by Cesare. Caligari orders Cesare to kill Jane, but the hypnotized slave relents after her beauty captivates him. He carries Jane out of her house, leading the townsfolk on a lengthy chase. Francis discovers Caligari is the head of the local insane asylum, and with the help of his colleagues discovers he's obsessed with the story of a previous Doctor Caligari, who used a somanambulist to murder people as a traveling act.
Cesare falls to his death during the pursuit and the townsfolk discover that Caligari had created a dummy of Cesare to distract Francis. After being confronted with the dead Cesare, Caligari breaks down and reveals his mania and is imprisoned in his asylum. The influential twist ending reveals that Francis' flashback is actually his fantasy: Caligari is his asylum doctor, who, after this revelation of his patient's delusion, claims to be able to cure him.

Castellar

Castellar: Castellar is a capital letter typeface from John Peters, named after a location in the Alps. It first appeared in 1957 with Monotype. Peters modelled the design on the Roman script Scriptura Quadrata as it was used in the first two centuries of the Roman Empire. One distinguishing characteristic is the quadratic proportions of many letters, which are however mixed with circular and narrow forms. The original script was called Scriptura Quadrata because the ancient engravers used rectangular stone plates for their work. Castellar is a typical title typeface and is best used in large and very large point sizes to highlight its classic elegance.
The Castellar™ Font Family is part of the
Monotype Originals.

Designer - John Peters: The British designer John Peters (1917–1989) created the font Castellar™ in 1957.

Algerian

Algerian: consisting of 2 font weights including Linotype Library. Algerian is the creation of Phillip Kelly from Letraset. This alphabet of capital letters also includes many alternate characters. Algerian is reminiscent of 19th century woodcut types and is perfect for any work which suggests the Victorian era. This all capital style is reminiscent of a 19th century Victorian woodcut typeface. It was designed with many alternative letters and is ideally suited for work where a period or antique look is desired.

I interested most in the "Thu Phap" font, this is the combineation of Vietnamese and Chinese. With the leghth of history, Vietnam is depended on China for 300 years , thus Vietnam has affected by China most in language letter, customs ... in those, I love to discover about the letter is written by Chinese style with the vietnamese meaning. It is called "Thu Phap" font.
There are a lot of kinds to write this font:

1. "Chan Phuong" is the normal method writting : clearly and legible.

2. "Cach Dieu": change in style towards "Chan Phuong" font to compose the individual style based on the habbit of each person.

3. "Ca Biet" is writting continuously, each letter is not uninterrupted. It is inlegible, but it create the differrent for style.

4. "Mo Phong" ( I love most ) this type is written the same most with Chinese.

5. Writting word under drwing a picture. It is difficult to did.

Those picture under is changing in various design ... it make the font format to be attractive. Each letter can be described different image and they can be composed to be a various images.

They are one kinds of advertising, poster about scial welfare in Vietnam.
They both have clear, short and legible message, used clear illustration ( picture ), and including supporting typography. All of factor to compose the acceptable poster.
However, in my opinion the second and the third poster did not get the attention from viewers because they did not attractive and interesting. But the first poster has the good design. The white text is stand out in the dark background poster and the big title ( also is a big question) attract the viewers focusing what happen with the image which supporting for the text.
The good layout desiging, good image, clear text to compose the good poster.

Poster - Font Text - Stencil Std Bold

"ACT" has many meanings, I searched that the outstanding meaning describes the LAW and ART FASHION.
I used Art Fashion to descibe the meaning of "ACT". This picture above is one kind of logo or poster advertise for the activity of fashion.
I used Stencil Std Bold format for this text. Because this format take the style for advertising fashion, advertise the title of the brandname fashion.
I used image of two shadows of model to support and they combined with ACT to compose the meaning of this poster.
Becasue Fashion belonged ART and it also is romantic , thus I chose pink to put into this poster. And change in pink color in close proximity including the giadient of background to compose the harmous point of this poster. The white line in the center of this poster as separating limit, this is the balance between text and image. It creates the lighting for this poster at the first look at.

Card Fashion

This is two kinds of card which I designed for fun but the store already existed. When I designed card by Illustrator, I tried to make the shade of card ( it mean that you will see as two cards lay on together). I designed the color of card depended on what style of clothes in store. This store is leaning about romantic and courteous thus I used orange is the main color. Besides that I used proximility orange for shop's name: KBE and shop's information.

When I close one layer of the first design, I found out the second one is also bring the comfortable to me with the combination of white and orange. So I decided to post both of them .
